All of Belle Epoque’s tarts made in butter rich shortbread pastry. Fresh fruit tarts prepared with crème pastissier, frangipan tarts made with almond cream. The crisp layer of pâte sablée makes a fine bed for a rich almond cream with fresh fruits or fruits compotes. The whole tart is topped with apricot glaze giving the finishing touch, while fruit flavours amuse themselves by titillating the palate. We gather our fresh fruits from local supplier with seasonal availability. All our tarts are available in individual servings, 4 persons, 6 persons or 10/12 persons servings. View full range -

The respect for the grain, the fermentation process and of course the ‘savoir faire’ of the baker all blend to make a range of breads that few can match. At Belle Epoque our flour is from the leading French flour mill ‘Grands Moulins de Paris’ (G.M.P). Long ago in France, it was custom for villagers to throw buns into a pile of preparation for the wedding feast. A clever baker decided to take some bun-like pastries stuffed with cream and fastened them as a pyramid, like the mound of buns, creating a tall cone of caramel-coated cream puffs called croque en bouche “crisp in the mouth”. The cone may be topped with caged doves, which are released to symbolize the newlyweds’ departure from their families The Croqueembouche is a traditional French wedding & christening cake, also called “Piece Montée”. The shelf life for this type of cake is ONLY 1 DAY; the cake will be made 2 hours before pick or delivery day of the function. View full range -
